L'Impressa di Alessandria recreates the operation carried out by six men of the 10th MAS Flotilla (Operation G.A. 3) on the night of 18–19 December 1941. Riding three SLCs (Siluri a Lenta Corsa, or slow-running torpedoes), they entered the harbour of Alexandria, Egypt, and used explosive warheads to sink the British battleships HMS Queen Elizabeth and HMS Valiant, which settled on the harbour bottom.

The player takes on the role of an SLC operator, or pilot. Nicknamed the “Pig,” this underwater craft was capable of travelling while submerged.
The object of the game is to enter the harbour of Alexandria, the base of the Royal Navy’s Mediterranean Fleet, locate the ship assigned as the mission objective, and attach the craft’s explosive warhead to it.
